Tanja P. Hightower is an Empowerment Speaker, Consultant, and Author. She has always had a heart for people regardless of their background. Her ability to function in diverse areas has enhanced her communication skills allowing her to engage with a wide spectrum of individuals, like those with social disorders, mental illnesses, doctorate degrees, GEDs, CEO’s of successful businesses or single parents who are trying to rub two pennies together.
She learned that although people have different beliefs, cultures, and ethnicities, they all are striving to find purpose and live an abundant life. As CEO of Tanja P. Hightower International, TPI, and author of “Destiny Grabbers,” Tanja assists others with discovering their identity and educates them on fulfilling their purpose. TPI goes beyond Ministry, it is an outreach for those who are in and out of any religious institution. Tanja instructs those who have sacrificed time and energy in areas outside of their calling, how to redirect themselves toward their own vision and walk in their purpose. Causing a chain reaction, she empowers, encourages and enlighten individuals so that they can do the same for the next person.
Tanja holds a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and Master of Divinity from Houston Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctorate of Divinity from Cornerstone University in Lake Charles, LA.
When she is not rescuing lives, Tanja can be found volunteering at The VA Hospital, coaching AAU basketball, mentoring teens in High School, reading one of her favorite books like “Caught Between a Dream and a Job” by Delatorro McNeal II or watching her favorite movie, “Lord of the Rings”.
Tanja is happily married to Dave Hightower. They have two wonderful children, Daria Hightower and Dave Hightower Jr., and five grandchildren.
